The GHIA 5000 MANGUSTA was supposed to have real Spring (Rear) Suspension on the DE TOMASO CHASSIS, I am disappointed that when you put the Body on the Chassis, the Rear wheels touch the Body and act as brake stopping the model freely rolling

Great model. Compared excellently to the original one I have without a box. Looking forward to the next model. Compares really better with the Atlas reproduction range of Dinky Models.

CMC have really done a great job with the Green Hornet Black Beauty.
Model is a great replica of the original… which I do own an original…. So I was able to put them side to side to compare.
This new release also kills the release that was released by Corgi sometime in the early nineties for memory. That one doesn’t even come close to the new one. One thing I did notice though on the baseplate when comparing the early nineties release to the new one was they both have the same screw and rivet set up. But the original sixties release has an all rivet setup.
Graphics on the box are brilliant but would have been nice if the back flaps of the inner stand were attached rather than the customer having to glue them down. Because on previous releases like the Batmobile the back flaps were glued down in the factory.
But all in all this is fantastic job by CMC

Fantastic re-issue of this classic from the 60's/70's, I had one of these new when they first came out that was unfortunately stolen many years later. Very happy to replace this reminder of my younger days.....
Very similar to the original. A worthy replica, as I have come to expect from the Corgi Model Club. I have an original model from the 1960's and this one is very close in the detail. The figures are painted with more care, although the boot mechanism is not as smooth as on the original. In my case I need to press down on the rear suspension in order to close the boot. Otherwise, very happy with the model.
Good quality die cast model excellent condition along with great communications and fast delivery.
